The CS-44/200 enclosure is a solid and versatile solution for protecting and organizing electrical components. Made of durable steel, it provides reliable protection in demanding industrial conditions and also works as a distribution board in power distribution. Thanks to its IP66 protection rating, it effectively protects against dust and water jets, making it ideal for use both indoors and outdoors (sheltered mounting recommended).

Construction and user features

The enclosure is characterized by a solid construction made of steel sheet with a thickness depending on the size, ensuring resistance to mechanical damage (IK10). The surface finish with powder coating in RAL 7035 color guarantees durable protection against corrosion. A mounting plate is included in the set, making it easier to install devices. The door opening at a 120° angle with the possibility of transferring it to the left or right side increases comfort during work. A lock with a double-bit key provides additional security.

Applications and parameters

CS enclosures from Eaton are widely used as distribution boards for low voltage distribution, enclosures protecting against direct contact with live parts, and protection of equipment in harsh environmental conditions (high dust, risk of flooding). Thanks to the variety of sizes (including the dimensions 400x400x200 mm of the CS-44/200 model), they can be adapted to different needs and applications. The maximum load on the door is 250 N, on the enclosure – 2250 N, and on the mounting plate – 2000 N, while the heat dissipation is 29 W (Delta T = 20 K).
