The CS-43/150 enclosure is a solid and versatile solution for protecting and organizing electrical components. Made of durable steel, it provides reliable protection in demanding environmental conditions. With an IP66 protection rating, it effectively protects against dust and water jets, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications (sheltered mounting recommended). The enclosure comes with a mounting plate, simplifying device installation.

Design and user features

The enclosure design is focused on ease of installation and use. A robust steel frame and solid hinges guarantee stability and long-term operation. A door opening angle of 120° provides convenient access to the interior, and the ability to reposition it to the left or right increases installation flexibility. A lock with a double-bit key provides additional security. The powder-coated surface finish in RAL 7035 color ensures corrosion resistance and an aesthetic appearance.

Applications and compliance with standards

CS enclosures from Eaton are widely used as distribution boards for power distribution, enclosures protecting against direct contact with energized parts, and device protection in harsh industrial conditions. They meet the requirements of IEC/EN 62208, confirming their compliance with regulations regarding use in low-voltage switchgear (IEC/EN 61439-2).
