Universal steel enclosure with mounting plate

The Eaton CS-54/250 steel enclosure is a robust and versatile solution for protecting and organizing electrical components. Made of durable steel, it provides reliable protection in demanding industrial and commercial environments. With an IP66 protection rating, it effectively protects against dust and water jets, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications (covered mounting recommended).

Design and user features

The enclosure design is designed for easy installation and convenience. The included mounting plate allows for direct device mounting without the need for additional accessories. The 120° opening door, with the possibility of reversing it to the left or right, facilitates access to the interior of the enclosure during installation and maintenance. A lock with a double-bit key increases the level of security, and the ability to replace the insert with a key or patent lock provides additional access control.

The enclosure has a solid construction made of steel sheet with a thickness depending on the size, guaranteeing resistance to mechanical damage (IK10). A specially profiled frame drains water, and a molded polyurethane gasket ensures IP66 tightness. Additionally, welded door profiles with holes in a 25 mm raster facilitate the mounting of DIN rails and cable routing. The enclosure is powder-coated in RAL 7035 color, providing durable corrosion protection.

The enclosure also has a NEMA 12 protection rating.
