Pulse relay – reliable lighting and device control

The Z-SB230/SS pulse relay is a device designed to control lighting and other electrical appliances. Its construction based on the principle of bistability, i.e. switching between two states using a short pulse, allows for convenient and energy-saving management of circuits. Mounting on a DIN rail (TS-35) simplifies installation in electrical switchboards, and compact dimensions – only 1 module wide – allow for optimal use of space.

Functionality and technical parameters

This relay operates at a control voltage of 230V AC, making it compatible with most standard electrical installations. It has two changeover contacts, allowing switching of a load with a maximum current of 16A (250V AC). The switching capacity reaches 1980W for incandescent bulbs, 1020VA for fluorescent lamps and 1820VA for fluorescent lamps with DUO compensation. Thanks to manual operation, it is possible to test the circuit operation or manually switch the relay state without the need to supply a control pulse.
