Residual Current Circuit Breaker Pfim-40/2/003-G/A 108045
Safety and reliability in your electrical installation.
The Pfim-40/2/003-G/A residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is a key element ensuring the protection of people and equipment against electric shock and the effects of short circuits. The device is designed to protect electrical circuits with a voltage of 230V, and its rated current is 40A. Thanks to a residual current sensitivity of 0.03A, the breaker effectively detects even small leakage currents, minimizing the risk of dangerous situations.
Design and installation – convenience for professionals and users
The Pfim-40/2/003-G/A circuit breaker has been designed with easy mounting on a DIN rail in mind, which significantly speeds up installation work. The compact width of 2 modules allows for optimal use of space in the distribution board. Screw and rail terminals, available from both the top and bottom, make it easy to connect wires with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² to 16 mm² (multi-strand) and 1.5 mm² to 35 mm² (solid). Additionally, the ability to add auxiliary contacts, undervoltage releases and auto-reclosing devices expands the functionality of the device and allows it to be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. The contact position indicator facilitates visual control of the device status.
Characteristics and application – protection tailored to needs
The circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit strength of 10 kA and an impulse withstand voltage of 3 kA, which guarantees its reliable operation even in difficult operating conditions. The rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV provides additional safety in the event of overvoltages. The mechanical lock prevents accidental switching on of the circuit breaker after it has been switched off by the operation of the residual current protective device. The device operates at a frequency of 50 Hz and has a protection class of IP20, which means protection against contact with fingers. Thanks to type A sensitivity, the circuit breaker effectively reacts to sinusoidal and pulsating leakage currents – typical of most electrical appliances. The possibility of any power supply direction increases the flexibility of the installation.
