Residual current circuit breaker 6kA PF6-25/2/03 286494
Residual Current Device (RCD) is a key element of any electrical installation, ensuring the safety of users and protecting against the effects of electric shock. This two-pole model with a rated current of 25A and a tripping current of 0.3A, designed to operate at 230V, provides reliable protection in AC circuits. Its mounting on a DIN TH35 rail is quick and intuitive, which will be appreciated by both professional installers and those performing electrical work themselves.
Protection and functionality
This RCD effectively protects against electric shock in the event of touching a damaged live wire or insulation failure of a device. Thanks to its AC characteristic, it reacts to sinusoidal currents, making it an ideal solution for protecting standard household, workshop or office circuits. The short-circuit strength of 6kA guarantees its stable operation even in the event of large overvoltages. Additionally, the ability to connect wires with a cross-section of up to 35mm² provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate cables. The locking mechanism prevents accidental switching off of the RCD, which increases safety.
Construction and mounting
The RCD takes up only two modules on the DIN rail (width 36mm), which saves space in the distribution board. Its housing in RAL 7035 color harmoniously fits into the appearance of most electrical installations. The test button allows regular checking of the correct operation of the RCD - testing is recommended every 6 months to maintain full functionality. The possibility of routing the N wire on both sides facilitates installation and configuration. The RCD has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
Technical data and compliance with standards
The RCD is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C, which ensures its reliability in various environmental conditions. The rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4kV, and the rated insulation voltage Ui is 440V. The device meets applicable safety standards and has a withstand current strength of 0.25kA. The possibility of additional equipment (e.g. auxiliary contact) allows to expand the functionality of the RCD according to individual installation needs.
