Surge protection in electrical installations

SPCT2-280 surge limiter insert is an element providing effective protection of electrical installations against the effects of surges, both atmospheric (lightning strikes) and switching (e.g. switching on and off inductive devices). It is a type 2 component, which means it is intended for mounting behind a type 1 limiter (or directly in installations where a type 1 limiter is not required). Its task is to discharge surge energy to ground, protecting connected devices from damage.

This particular insert, with a maximum discharge current of 40 kA, is compatible with various network systems – TN, as well as other network systems.
