This surface-mounted distribution box from Eaton's xEnergy Basic series is a reliable solution for distributing electrical energy in residential and commercial buildings. Made of durable steel, it provides lasting protection for electrical circuits against overload and short circuit. The IP30 protection rating guarantees protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm.

The BP-O-800/15-C distribution box is designed for wall mounting, making installation easier and saving space. Its design allows for the mounting of 315 modules, providing great flexibility in configuration and adaptation to individual needs. It is equipped with DIN rails, allowing for easy mounting of circuit breakers, residual current devices and other protective devices.

Construction and functionality

The distribution box has a closed construction with single doors, which further increases safety. The lack of a lock eliminates the need for additional security, while ensuring easy access to the interior if necessary. The possibility of expansion and extension allows the distribution box to be adapted to changing requirements of the electrical installation. Removable side walls facilitate access to cables and devices during maintenance or modernization.

Thanks to the standard equipment – busbars and covers – the distribution box is ready for immediate use after mounting the modular apparatus. Configuration with the SBC (Software Basic Configuration) program allows for optimal adaptation of the distribution box to a specific project. The gray color (RAL 7035) provides an aesthetic look and blends well with most interiors.
