The HERMETICA RN 1x8+2 distribution box is a solid and reliable solution for electrical power distribution, designed for both traditional and photovoltaic installations. Made of high-quality ABS (casing) and polycarbonate (cover), it provides durable protection of electrical components in harsh environmental conditions. Its construction, meeting the PN-EN 62208:2011 standard, guarantees safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

Functionality and safety in one

This surface-mounted distribution box is characterized by a high degree of protection IP65, which means complete resistance to dust and water jets. Additionally, the IK07 impact resistance provides protection against mechanical damage. Designed for photovoltaic (PV) installations with voltages up to 1000V DC, it is an ideal choice for systems utilizing solar energy. Insulation class II increases the level of safety.

Technical parameters and construction

The casing made of durable ABS and the cover made of polycarbonate provide high mechanical and chemical resistance. The distribution box has 10 modules (1 row x 8 modules + 2 additional modules), allowing for the installation of the necessary number of protective and control devices. The rated insulation voltage is 690V AC / 1000V DC, making it a universal solution for various types of electrical installations. The ability to lock the cover in two positions – open or half-open – increases comfort during servicing or maintenance of the installation. The solid construction with thick walls ensures long-term reliability even in difficult working conditions (temperature range from -20°C to +70°C).
