Aluminum lightning rod – protection against atmospheric discharges

This aluminum lightning rod is a complete kit designed to protect roof elements and external devices such as skylights, air conditioners, or ventilation units from the effects of lightning strikes. Its construction provides effective protection, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring the safety of the installation. The mast is made of aluminum, which guarantees lightness and corrosion resistance.

Construction and application

The mast is designed for self-assembly on a concrete base (available separately). The kit includes: mast shaft, two concrete bases and a complete set of mounting elements. This makes the installation relatively simple and quick. A lightning arrester for the cable is also included, eliminating the need for additional purchases. The mast, when unfolded, reaches a height of 1500 mm and a base dimension of 340 x 340 mm. The mast diameter is 16 mm, allowing connection with cables of similar diameter.

The use of a lightning rod is particularly important in objects where direct connection to lightning down conductors is difficult or impossible for safety reasons. The use of masts creates a protective zone around the protected element.
