This aluminum lightning rod is a key element of the surge protection system. It serves to safely dissipate the energy of atmospheric discharges, protecting both the building structure and the equipment mounted on it – skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units or ventilation ducts. Its use minimizes the risk of damage caused by lightning strikes and ensures the continuity of installation.

The mast is supplied with a lightning rod connector for wire, which facilitates and speeds up installation. It should be remembered that a separate pad is required under the concrete base to ensure stability and proper operation of the entire system. Construction and application

The mast is made of aluminum, which guarantees lightness and corrosion resistance. Its universal diameter (16 mm) allows easy connection with various types of round conductors. The length of 2500 mm provides sufficient height of the mast, necessary for effectively intercepting atmospheric discharges. The raw mast allows you to match the color to the surroundings or use additional protective coatings.

The use of a lightning rod is particularly important in the case of roof elements or equipment that cannot be directly connected to down conductors.
