Lightning protection for your building

This aluminum lightning rod is a key element of the surge protection system, designed to protect metal roof elements and external devices – skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units, or ventilation ducts – from the effects of direct lightning strikes. Its construction allows for the creation of a protection zone, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring installation safety.

The mast comes complete with three concrete bases and a mounting kit, making installation easier and faster. Please note that the base pad for the concrete base is sold separately and its use is recommended for stable anchoring. Additional roof protection with roofing felt or membrane (available separately) will increase the durability and effectiveness of the entire system. Made of aluminum, the mast is lightweight and corrosion resistant.

Construction and application

The 3.5 meter long and 16 mm diameter mast is made of raw aluminum. It is designed for connections with round wire. Its main task is to safely discharge lightning energy to the ground, protecting the building and the devices inside. The lightning arrester connector for the wire, included in the set, simplifies the connection process to the rest of the lightning protection installation.

The use of a lightning rod is particularly important in the case of objects with structural elements or devices exposed to direct lightning strikes. Mast installation should be carried out in accordance with applicable standards and regulations regarding surge protection.
