Flexible connection for wire and sheet metal

This compensating connection, made of galvanized steel, is designed to connect lightning protection wire to sheet metal. Its main function is to provide connection flexibility and compensate for mechanical stresses that may arise due to temperature changes. This makes the connection more durable and resistant to damage.

The use of this type of connector is particularly important on long sections of lightning protection installation – it is recommended to use it every approximately 40 meters of wire. This allows the installation to adapt freely to weather conditions and minimizes the risk of damage.

Construction and application

Made of durable steel, protected with galvanized coating, the compensating connection is characterized by high corrosion resistance. The width of the flat wire to which this connector fits is from 25 to 30 mm. Mounting is done with hexagonal screws, which ensures a secure and stable connection.
