Lightning Protection – Reliable Insulated Mast

This insulated mast on a four-legged stand is a key element of a lightning protection system, designed to protect metal structural elements of a building, such as skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units, or ventilation ducts. Its task is to effectively discharge atmospheric discharge energy to the ground, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety.

This mast is particularly useful in high-level horizontal down conductor systems, where Aldrey rope is used. The structure supports the rope and enables its proper functioning. Made of durable aluminum and supplemented with stainless steel (V2A) in the base (four-legged stand), it combines lightness and corrosion resistance. An insulating rod with a length of 1 meter, placed at the top of the mast, allows for safe installation near devices, maintaining the required isolation distances.

Construction and installation:

The mast is supplied with a four-legged stand equipped with 16 concrete bases and a mounting kit. Please note that concrete pads are sold separately (cat. no. 44408208) and their use is recommended to ensure the stability of the structure. Additionally, special pads (cat. no. 94308222 and 94308221) are recommended for roofs covered with roofing felt or membranes. The distance between masts connected by Aldrey rope should not exceed 10 meters.
