This four-legged insulated mast is a key element of the lightning protection system, designed to protect metal structural elements of the building – such as skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units, or ventilation ducts – from the effects of direct lightning strikes. It is particularly useful in high-level horizontal down conductor systems, where Aldrey wire is used.

This mast is a solid supporting structure, made of durable aluminum and finished with a 1-meter insulating rod. This solution allows for safe placement of the mast near sensitive devices, maintaining the required isolation distances. The tripod, made of stainless steel, ensures the stability and durability of the entire structure. It is important to maintain a maximum distance of 10 meters between masts connected by the Aldrey wire.

The set includes a lightning arrester connector for wire, facilitating installation. To ensure optimal safety and stability, it is recommended to use dedicated concrete pads (ordered separately – cat. no. 44408208) and pads for roofs covered with roofing felt (94308222) or membrane (94308221). The set includes the mast spike, tripod with bases, and a mounting kit.
