Insulated mast for horizontal down conductors – protection and safety of lightning protection systems

This insulated mast, made of durable aluminum, is a key element of the lightning protection system. It serves to protect metal roof elements and external devices – such as skylights, air conditioners or ventilation units – from the effects of atmospheric discharges. Its construction allows for effective discharge of lightning current to ground, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety. The mast functions as a support for the Aldrey wire, stretched between successive lightning protection masts. The design allows for the passage of two Aldrey wires, increasing the flexibility of the installation. It should be remembered to maintain a maximum distance of 8 meters between adjacent masts connected by the Aldrey wire.
