This isolated mast, made of robust aluminum, is a key element of the lightning protection system. It serves to protect metal elements of the roof or equipment – such as skylights, air conditioners, or ventilation units – from the effects of atmospheric discharges. Its design allows for effective discharge of lightning current to ground, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety.

The mast acts as a support for the Aldrey wire, stretched between successive lightning protection masts. It is finished with a 1-meter long insulated rod, which allows it to be mounted near the protected device, maintaining the required isolation distances. The design allows for through-mounting of two Aldrey wires, increasing the flexibility of the installation. It should be remembered that the distance between masts connected by the Aldrey wire should not exceed 8 meters.

The standard version of the mast (62066009) is characterized by strength and reliability. Made of aluminum, it provides lightness and corrosion resistance. The mast is designed to work with appropriate mounting brackets (e.g., 66000105), which should be selected depending on the specifics of the installation and the type of surface.

Construction and mounting:

The mast has been designed for easy and quick installation. The aluminum construction makes it easier for installers to work, and the well-thought-out design ensures stability and durability of connections. Installation requires the use of flat wrenches (17mm and 13mm) and clamping screws M8x12 and M8x25 (depending on the configuration). For masts with a height of 5m, 6m or 7m, additional mounting elements and mounting adhesive are required.
