Power cable NAY2Y-J 4x150 – reliability and safety in your installation
The NAY2Y-J cable is a solid solution for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. Designed for both industrial applications, power plants, and local power supply networks, it ensures safe and efficient energy distribution. This cable performs excellently in permanent installations, both indoors and outdoors – in cable ducts and directly in the ground.
Construction and application
The NAY2Y-J cable is characterized by a construction with four cores with a cross-section of 150 mm², made of aluminum. Core insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The cores are twisted, which increases the cable's flexibility and facilitates its installation. The outer coating made of polyethylene (PE) further protects the cable against moisture and UV radiation. This makes the cable resistant to harsh operating conditions.
This cable is particularly recommended for applications where high mechanical and electrical strength, as well as resistance to changing weather conditions, are required. It will be useful in industry, energy, and everywhere else where a reliable cable for transmitting energy is needed. Additionally, the cable meets ENEA OPERATOR standards (since June 15, 2020), which guarantees its compatibility with the energy distribution systems of this operator.
Key features and benefits
- Large core cross-section (150 mm²): enables the transmission of large currents, ideal for powering devices with high power consumption.
- Aluminum cores: provide good electrical conductivity with relatively low weight.
- PVC insulation: guarantees effective protection against short circuits and insulation damage.
- PE coating: protects the cable against moisture, UV radiation and mechanical damage.
- Twisted cores: increase the cable's flexibility, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
- ENEA OPERATOR standard compliance: ensures compatibility with the energy distribution systems of this operator – an important aspect for installers working with this network.
- Fire reaction class Eca: provides a basic level of fire safety in accordance with EN 13501-6 – important for the safety of the installation and users.
- Approximate outer diameter 48 mm: facilitates the selection of appropriate mounting accessories (adapters, connectors).
- Minimum bending radius 576 mm: should be taken into account when designing the cable route to avoid damage to the internal cores during installation.
Remember to exercise caution during installation – the permissible ambient temperature during cable laying is -5°C to +5°C!
