The YKSY 0.6/1 kV 24x1.5 cable is a reliable solution for transmitting control and power signals in various industrial and installation applications. Its construction with solid copper conductors and PVC insulation ensures good flexibility and durability, while numbered conductor markings simplify identification during installation and servicing. This cable is designed for permanent installation in cable trays, industrial equipment, and production lines.

Construction and characteristics

The YKSY cable features a round cross-section and lacks armor, enhancing its flexibility. It is constructed with Class 1 solid copper conductors insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The outer sheath is also made of PVC, providing additional protection against mechanical damage and environmental factors. Conductors are twisted to improve resistance to interference. Conductor color coding consists of black with white numeric printing, and a yellow-green conductor serving as the protective earth. Note that the cable does not include shielding or a protective barrier.

Application and operational parameters

This cable is suitable for industrial installations, production lines, control systems, and connections of safety and monitoring equipment. It performs well in dry and humid indoor environments, as well as outdoors provided it is protected from direct sunlight. The maximum allowable operating temperature for the conductor is 70°C, and the minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 212 mm. The rated voltage is 1000 V (U) / 600 V (U0). The cable complies with EN 13501-6 class Eca for reaction to fire. The nominal conductor cross-section is 1.5 mm², conductor diameter is 21.5 mm, and the approximate outer diameter is 21.2 mm.
