YKSYFty 0.6/1 kV 24x1.5 cable is a robust solution for transmitting control and power signals under demanding conditions. Equipped with a reinforcing tape, it provides enhanced mechanical protection, making it an ideal choice for installations exposed to potential damage. The construction features copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², ensuring efficient current transmission, while the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation guarantees safe operation.

Construction and application – key to versatility

This cable is suitable for use in energy control equipment, security systems, and control systems. It performs reliably in cable ducts, external structures, and direct burial applications. Thanks to its steel tape armor, it resists mechanical damage and transverse forces. The Class 1 copper conductors are single-wire, facilitating easy installation and termination. Additionally, conductors are twisted and numbered for easy identification. Conductor insulation color is black, and the outer sheath is also black, simplifying cable differentiation in installations. The cable’s rated voltage is 0.6/1 kV.

Parameters and features affecting performance

The YKSYFty cable is manufactured to high quality standards and complies with safety regulations. The maximum allowable conductor temperature is 70°C, enabling operation across a wide ambient temperature range. The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 255 mm – this must be considered during cable route planning. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 25.5 mm, and the diameter of each individual conductor is 24.9 mm. This cable is not intended for use in oily environments or airport installations; it lacks a protective barrier or shield. It is not rated for low-temperature resistance according to EN 60811-504+505+506. Fire reaction class per EN 13501-6 is Eca – indicating limited flammability and low smoke emission in case of fire.
