Construction and parameters for demanding applications

The cable is designed for durability and performance. The internal foil bonded to the dielectric provides complete electromagnetic shielding – a feature particularly valued in the construction of advanced installations, meeting the requirements of the 2012 Building Regulations. Physically foamed PE dielectric with a diameter of 4.7 mm minimizes signal loss over long distances. Thanks to this, you can be sure of a stable picture even at large distances from the signal source.

It is worth paying attention to the electrical parameters of the cable: shielding effectiveness at a level of over 85 dB in the range of 30 MHz – 1000 MHz (class A) and cable capacitance of approximately 54 pF/m. The DC resistance of the inner conductor is 18 Ohm/km, and the shielding – 21 Ohm/km. These values guarantee high signal transmission quality and minimize the risk of interference. The cable attenuation varies depending on the frequency:

At a frequency of 5 MHz, the attenuation is 2.70 dB/100m, and at 55 MHz – 5.25 dB/100m. For higher frequencies, these values are: 211 MHz - 10 dB/100m, 250 MHz - 10.82 dB/100m, 400 MHz - 13.61 dB/100m, 550 MHz - 16.08 dB/100m, 750 MHz - 18.54 dB/100m, 860 MHz - 19.90 dB/100m and 1000 MHz - 21.49 dB/100m.

Supplied on drums of 305 meters in length, which facilitates storage and installation. The minimum bending radius is 40 mm – it is worth taking this into account during installation to avoid damage to the cable.
