Huawei SUN2000-4KTL-M1-HC Hybrid Inverter – Efficient Solar Energy Management
The Huawei SUN2000-4KTL-M1-HC inverter is a three-phase device designed to work with photovoltaic installations, both on roofs and on the ground. Thanks to its high efficiency, the ability to integrate with energy storage systems and advanced safety features, it is an optimal solution for homes and small businesses. The device is distinguished by a high-current design, which allows the connection of panels with higher power.
Installation Efficiency and Flexibility
This model offers a maximum efficiency of 98.3%, and the European efficiency is 97.1%. Equipped with two independent MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Trackers), the inverter optimizes energy harvesting from solar panels, even in the event of partial shading or differences in module orientation. This makes it possible to obtain maximum efficiency from the photovoltaic installation. The maximum DC input power is 6000 W, and the MPP voltage range is 140–980 V, which ensures wide compatibility with different types of panels.
Safety and Protection
Installation safety is a priority. The inverter has a built-in DC disconnect switch and Type II surge arresters on both the AC and DC sides. In addition, the device monitors leakage currents and has an arc fault detection (AFCI) function, minimizing the risk of fire. The housing with an IP65 protection degree provides resistance to weather conditions and allows installation both indoors and outdoors.
Integration with Energy Storage and Communication
The Huawei SUN2000-4KTL-M1-HC is a hybrid inverter, which means the ability to connect LUNA2000 batteries (with a capacity of 5 to 30 kWh) to store excess energy. This allows increasing energy independence and optimizing electricity consumption costs. Communication is via RS485 and WLAN interfaces (via Smart Dongle), as well as optionally Ethernet or 4G/3G/2G (also via Smart Dongle). This enables remote monitoring of the PV system's operation using the Huawei FusionSolar application. The device also works with SUN2000-450W-P optimizers, increasing installation efficiency by up to 30%.
Installation and Operation
The inverter is characterized by compact dimensions (525 x 470 x 146.5 mm) and a light weight (17 kg), which facilitates installation. Passive cooling eliminates the need for fans, ensuring quiet operation of the device. LED status indication allows for quick diagnosis of any problems.
