In Enphase installations, the Q RELAY acts as a controller for the physical disconnection relay in three-phase installations. During certain network anomalies, Relay Q disconnects Enphase microinverters from the AC network, and when the voltages return to normal and the network frequency is within the acceptable range, Relay Q reconnects the system. The Q relay works in series with the Envoy-S relay, breaking both the phase lines and the neutral as needed, as required.
