Insulated twin ferrule end

The HI 2X0,5/8 ferrule end is a specialized installation component designed for connecting two wires simultaneously in a single connector. Made of galvanized tin-plated copper, it ensures excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation made of polyamide (PA) in orange not only identifies the cross-section but also increases vibration resistance and reduces the risk of short circuits.

Construction and materials

The thin-walled copper construction with a cross-section of 2x0,5 mm² (AWG 20) has been specifically designed for flexible multi-strand wires. Galvanic tin plating of the surface protects against oxidation and ensures long-term stability of electrical connections. The ferrule with a length of 8 mm and an internal diameter of 1,4 mm guarantees secure wire fastening.

The polyamide insulation is characterized by a wide operating temperature range (-30°C to +95°C) and halogen-free properties, making it environmentally safe. The total length of the end is 15 mm, which facilitates installation in hard-to-reach places.

Application and compatibility

The product enables the simultaneous connection of two wires, which reduces the number of connection points in the installation. The wider polyamide insulated ferrule improves the mechanical stability of the connection and facilitates assembly. The orange color of the insulation allows for quick identification of the cross-section during installation and maintenance.

The end is compatible with all standard ferrule crimping tools. The dimensions comply with the DIN 46228/4 standard (applies to the copper part), which guarantees universal applicability.
