SBF 400 connector 561153
DIN rail power connector – reliable wire connection
The SBF 400 connector is a terminal block designed for mounting on a DIN rail, ideal for connecting power cables in switchgear cabinets. It allows connection of both round and flat conductors, making it extremely versatile. The tinned copper construction allows connection of copper and aluminum wires without the risk of galvanic corrosion.
Versatility and connection control
The transparent housing of the SBF 400 connector provides visual control of the connection correctness, which is particularly important during installation and maintenance. The modular design allows for the creation of multi-pole blocks, adapted to specific installation needs. The connector can be easily mounted on a DIN rail using a clip or screws, making installation and assembly easier and faster.
Application and compliance with standards
The SBF 400 connector is used in connecting output/input devices, in connections between main and secondary switchgear, and as a main input/output connection to machines and industrial equipment (e.g. inverters, air conditioning units). It meets the requirements of EN 45545 standard, obtaining HL3 classification for compartment R23 and HL2 for compartment R22 – which confirms its safety in railway applications. Additionally, the product is RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
The SBF 400 connector is characterized by a wide range of permissible wire cross-sections – both flat Flexibar 2x20x1 - 5x24x1 IBS/IBSB with a cross-section of 100 mm², and round with a cross-section of 95 - 240 mm². It provides high current carrying capacity, with a maximum UL current of 335A and a typical IEC current of 400A. The product meets high safety standards thanks to compliance with EN 45545 (HL3/R23, HL2/R22), RoHS directive and the absence of halogen in its composition. The transparent housing allows visual control of connection quality, and mounting on a DIN rail is simple thanks to the possibility of using a clip or screws. The versatility of the connector results from the possibility of connecting both copper and aluminum wires.
