Compact brass mixing valve DZR, intended for heating and cooling systems

The valve is made of dezincification‑resistant brass (DZR), which guarantees durability in aggressive water environments — no risk of corrosion even with long‑term use. Its design provides minimal internal leakage — below 0.05 % of the Kvs value — meaning there is no unnecessary mixing of flows, even at low pressure differentials.

External threaded connections (G 2¼") allow direct attachment to pipes without the need for additional fittings. Working connection lengths (60 mm for each port) facilitate installation in tight spaces, and the symmetrical construction enables flexible routing without having to rotate the entire valve.

The linear flow characteristic means that turning the knob proportionally changes the flow distribution between ports — ideal for precise temperature regulation in heating circuits. Additionally, the square bypass characteristic ensures stable flow through the bypass circuit when the valve operates in mixing mode.

The valve can be used both as a mixing valve (combining hot and cold flows) and as a diverting valve (directing flow between two circuits). A Kvs of 40 corresponds to a flow of about 40 m³/h at a 1 bar pressure difference — sufficient for most central‑heating systems in single‑family homes and small commercial buildings.

The maximum differential pressure in the open position is 1 bar — this limitation is a design consideration, not a defect: the valve works optimally in low‑pressure systems where regulation accuracy takes precedence over high pressure. PN10 class confirms its suitability for typical operating conditions in heating installations.

The knob is made of anti‑slip material and has a 90° travel limiter, making manual operation easy — you only turn it as far as needed. The position scale can be rotated 180°, allowing the label to be aligned with the mounting direction. This lets the installer set the valve so the knob is easily accessible, whether the valve is mounted horizontally or vertically.

The valve fits perfectly with ESBE ARA600 actuators. A special coupling between the valve and the actuator eliminates mechanical play, resulting in regulation accuracy of ±1° with automatic temperature control. No additional matching parts or adjustments are required — it works “plug‑and‑play” with the entire ESBE controller family.

There is no rotating nut or compression fittings — the design is purely threaded, intended for traditional installations where pipes are threaded or welded. It also does not have a four‑way tee — it is a true three‑way mixing valve, without extra functions.
