Air contactor – reliable control of motors and energy consumers

This CEM112.22-230V-50/60Hz air contactor is a solid solution for remote switching on and off of electric motors and other energy consumers. It will work both in simple applications and in more advanced switching systems, star-delta or reversing. Its versatility and durability make it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Design and operating parameters

The contactor is designed to operate with a control voltage of 230V AC (50/60Hz). The rated operating current for AC-3 is 112A, allowing operation of loads up to 55 kW at 400V. Thanks to the busbar connection of the main contacts, installation and connection are quick and convenient. It has three normally closed main contacts and two normally open and two normally closed auxiliary contacts, which increases its functionality. The rated AC-1 current is 180A, and the rated AC-1 power is 115kW. The rated operating current for AC-4 is 63A with a rated power of 30kW.

Flexibility and expandability

One of the key advantages of this contactor is the ability to expand it with additional accessories. Auxiliary contacts, mechanical interlocks and overvoltage protection can be added to it, adapting it to the specific needs of the application. It is standardly equipped with two auxiliary contact blocks (1NO+1NC), one on each side. In addition, TBE cage clamps (for CEM112 - CEM300 models) are available to facilitate the connection of cables of different diameters, as well as GAE busbars for mounting thermal relays. CCEM terminal covers provide additional safety during installation and operation. The contactor meets the standards PN-IEC/PN-EN 60 947 and DIN VDE 0660, which guarantees its compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. The possibility of mounting on TH35 rail or with screws provides flexibility in installation.
