The EPL-16 circuit breaker is an advanced protective device designed to protect high-load electrical installations. With a rated current of 1600A and a breaking capacity of 65kA at 415V, it ensures effective protection even in the most demanding industrial applications.

Design and technical parameters

The device is designed as a withdrawable version, which allows for easy installation and removal without the need to disconnect the main cables. The three-pole design (3P) works with a rated operational voltage of 690V AC, and an impulse withstand voltage of 8kV guarantees resistance to surges.

The circuit breaker features compact dimensions of 460 × 330 × 370 mm with a weight of 64.93 kg, facilitating installation in industrial switchboards. The IP20 protection rating ensures safe use in industrial environments.

OCR protection system and adjustments

The built-in OCR (Over Current Relay) system with a thermal trip allows for precise adjustment of protection parameters. The thermal setting is adjustable in the range of 0.4-1 × In, while the magnetic setting is 1-15 × In, allowing the characteristics to be adapted to the specifics of the protected installation.

The device features integrated earth fault protection and is equipped with a trip indicator that informs about the device status after operation.

Motor drive and additional functionalities
