Overcurrent switch for demanding installations
The ETIMAT 10 overcurrent switch is a reliable and proven solution for protecting electrical installations in residential, public and industrial buildings. It provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads, guaranteeing safety and system durability. The construction based on IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards confirms its high quality and compliance with applicable standards.
Functionality and installation
This single-pole switch with a rated current of 63A and characteristic C is ideal for circuits exposed to short-term current surges, e.g. when starting motors. Mounting on a standard TH35 rail is quick and intuitive, and the possibility of powering from the bottom or top and double connection (rail and wire) increase installation flexibility. Additionally, the ability to seal the lever in the "On" and "Off" positions provides additional protection against unauthorized operation.
Expansion and additional functions
ETIMAT 10 offers wide possibilities of expanding functionality thanks to the possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and overcurrent releases (DA ETIMAT 10). The contact position indicator facilitates visual control of the switch status, and the "ON/OFF" marking on the switching lever improves user comfort. The possibility of labeling circuits allows for easy identification of individual lines in the installation. Each switch has a unique EAN code for easy identification and inventory management. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is as high as 6kA at 400V and 230V, which ensures a high level of safety in the event of a failure. Protection class IP20 protects against accidental contact.
