ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and public or industrial facilities. It provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads, protecting electrical circuits and devices connected to them. The design based on characteristic D makes the circuit breaker cope well with impulse loads, such as starting motors.

Functionality and technical parameters

This single-pole (1P) circuit breaker with a rated current of 2A is designed to operate in networks with a voltage of 400V. Its high short-circuit breaking capacity (6kA at 230V and 400V) guarantees a quick response in the event of a failure. Compliance with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards confirms its safety and reliability. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

Installation and additional features

ETIMAT 6 offers flexible installation thanks to the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². The possibility of connecting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) expands the functionality of the device, allowing it to be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. Additionally, the circuit breaker allows for double connection of the insulating busbar – from the top and from the bottom – which facilitates its integration with existing systems. The contact position indicator and the possibility of sealing the lever provide an additional level of safety and control.
