ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element for electrical installations in residential, public and industrial buildings. Functionality and technical parameters

The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is based on characteristic D, which means that it reacts with a slight delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other loads with high starting current – the circuit breaker will not trip unnecessarily when the device is started, but will effectively operate in the event of a real hazard. The two-pole design (2P) allows for the protection of two phase conductors in one circuit. The rated current of 16A and the short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at a voltage of 230/400V provide adequate protection for most standard installations.

Characteristic D makes the circuit breaker ideal for circuits with devices with high starting current, e.g. motors. The rated current of 16A is suitable for typical lighting and socket circuits. The short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA ensures effective protection against the effects of short circuits. The two-pole design (2P) allows for the protection of two phase conductors. The compact width of 2 modules makes it easy to mount in a distribution board. A wide operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C allows use in various environmental conditions. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in choosing wires.

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker has been designed with easy mounting on a TH35 rail in mind. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² ensures wide compatibility with various types of installations. Additionally, the circuit breaker offers a number of functionalities that increase its usability:

• Possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) – extending the functionality of the circuit breaker with signaling of the on/off status.
• Possibility of mounting an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) – additional protection against overloads caused by rising ambient temperature or other external factors.
• Contact position indicator – quick visual identification of the circuit breaker status (on/off).
• Possibility of sealing the lever – protection against unauthorized switching on or off of the circuit breaker.
• “ON/OFF” marking on the lever – intuitive operation.
