This empty flush-mounted distribution box from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable element of any electrical installation. Made of steel and coated with powder coating in RAL 7035 (grey), it provides durable protection and an aesthetic appearance. Designed for flush mounting, it will perfectly blend into the interior design, remaining a discreet yet functional element.

Construction and application

The 4XP160 2-5 distribution box offers as many as 120 module mounting spaces, arranged in 5 rows of 24 modules each. Its dimensions (610 x 860 x 160 mm) allow for comfortable installation of electrical equipment. The enclosure has a degree of protection of IP42, which means protection against access to dangerous parts and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The possibility of increasing the tightness to IP44 by using an additional gasket (available separately) allows you to adapt the distribution box to specific working conditions. Impact resistance IK10 guarantees resistance to vandalism and mechanical damage.

Special knockouts in the housing facilitate the routing of cables and wires, and holes for mounting in the recess and the possibility of adjusting the frame (approx. 15 mm) ensure precise installation, even with minor inaccuracies in the prepared recess. Removable mounting inserts simplify the installation and servicing of equipment. The door is equipped with two patent locks with key code 1333, ensuring the security of access to the inside of the distribution box.

Safety and compliance with standards

The distribution box has been designed with safety in mind. It has protection class I, which means that all conductive elements are connected to the grounding system. Compliance with the RoHS directive guarantees the absence of harmful substances in its composition. The enclosure ensures the continuity of electrical connections of the protective circuit thanks to the conductive structural parts and heat-applied M6 nuts placed in the internal frame – they serve both for mounting the vertical support and for connecting the protective conductor. The rated current of the distribution box is 250A.
