Flush-mounted enclosure for distribution boards – a solid solution for professionals and demanding users

This ECG42 flush-mounted enclosure is a reliable choice for mounting modular equipment in residential buildings, offices, public facilities and industry. It provides safe and aesthetic arrangement of electrical installations, meeting the requirements for protection against touch and external factors. The design adapted for flush mounting allows the enclosure to be discreetly integrated into the interior design.

Functionality and durability in one

The enclosure made of high-quality plastic, with metal doors in white color, guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Protection class II ensures safe use, eliminating the need to connect a protective conductor. The degree of protection IP40 protects against access to the inside of the enclosure of solid objects larger than 1mm.

• Capacity: The enclosure offers space for up to 36 modules of equipment, with an additional 6 modules available after removing the cover, giving a total of 42 modules. A width of 14 modules in a row allows for convenient arrangement of devices.
• Mounting: Suitable for mounting in masonry walls (concrete, brick) and plasterboard plates thanks to the included mounting brackets. The possibility of changing the direction of door opening (left/right) makes it easier to adapt to specific installation conditions.
• Cable entries: Equipped with removable upper and lower cable entries to facilitate the introduction of cables.
• DIN rails: Inside there is a frame of TH rails allowing convenient mounting of modular equipment.
• PE/N terminals: Standardly equipped with PE/N terminals (15 pieces of each type), which can be mounted in the upper or lower part of the enclosure.
• Safety: Meets the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive EMC, ensuring minimization of electromagnetic interference. The glow wire test 650°C confirms the fire resistance of the enclosure for mounting in masonry walls.

Installation comfort and additional functions

The enclosure design has been designed with installers in mind. The possibility of connecting enclosures vertically (ECGBRV handles) and horizontally (ECGBRHP handles) allows for the creation of extended distribution systems. Additionally, it is possible to seal the front cover and use a padlock for protection against unauthorized access. The set includes mounting brackets for wall and plasterboard, a 6-module cover and a label – everything you need for quick and professional installation.
