Construction and characteristic features

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials, which translates into its durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The body is made of steatite – a material with thermal stability, and the knife contacts are covered with silver, which ensures excellent electrical conductivity and minimizes the risk of corrosion. The aluminum covers provide additional protection against external factors. The inside of the fuse link is filled with specially granulated quartz sand, which is responsible for the high short-circuit breaking capacity and stable electrical parameters over time.

It is worth paying attention to the double indication of operation – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and reliable identification of a blown fuse, both visually in the fuse base and in the fuse disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote operation signaling – which is particularly useful in automation and monitoring systems.

It is ideal for protecting cables and equipment with a load characteristic corresponding to the old time-delay fuse links (gG). The rated short-circuit breaking capacity AC is 120 kA, which ensures effective protection against the effects of serious failures. The product meets the requirements of IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 standards, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards. Additionally, it has a g characteristic – which provides full-range protection against overload and short circuit.
