Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

Knife fuse links NH are industrial protection devices designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their parameters and dimensions comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. This particular fuse link, with a rated current of 200A and a voltage of 400V, is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means it provides full-range protection of conductors against overload and short circuit.

A distinguishing feature of this series is the dual operation indicator – both a red eye on the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the top cover indicate a blown fuse. This solution ensures easy and reliable identification of the fuse status, both in fuse bases and in disconnectors. Additionally, the indicator in the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote operation signaling.

The fuse link design is designed for durability and reliability. The body is made of steatite – a thermally stable material, and the knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass, which minimizes the risk of corrosion. The fuse link is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which guarantees a high short-circuit breaking capacity (120kA) and stable electrical parameters.
