Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection
Knife fuse links NH are industrial devices designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their design and electrical parameters comply with standards PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636, which guarantees their reliable operation and safety of use. This particular fuse link, with a rated current of 200A and a voltage of 400V, is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means that it is a general-purpose fuse link, ideal for protecting cables against overloads and short circuits.
The NH2C gG 200A/400V fuse link is equipped with a dual operating indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and quick identification of a blown fuse, both visually in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch, enabling remote signaling of the fuse link operation.
The design of this fuse link has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. The body is made of durable steatite – a thermally stable material, and the knife contacts are covered with silver, which ensures excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The fuse link is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which increases its short-circuit breaking capacity to 120kA and stabilizes its electrical parameters.
- Wide application: Ideal for protecting industrial installations, electrical switchboards and power circuits for various types of devices.
- High short-circuit breaking capacity: Provides effective protection against the effects of sudden current surges.
- Dual operating indicator: Facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse and minimizes installation downtime.
- Durable construction: Made of high-quality materials resistant to environmental conditions and mechanical damage.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 standards, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
- Cooperation with microswitch: The possibility of remote signaling of the fuse link operation increases user comfort and enables a quick response in the event of a failure.
Mounting fuse links requires the use of appropriate insulating holders (e.g. R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI), which ensure safe operation and minimize the risk of electric shock. It is also worth remembering the possibility of using fuse links with a striker (NH.../K…) to cooperate with HVL or KVL fuse disconnectors equipped with signaling microswitches.
