Design and product features

The fuse link has been designed with durability and functionality in mind. The body is made of durable steatite, a material resistant to high temperatures. Silver-plated knife contacts ensure excellent conductivity and minimize the risk of corrosion. Aluminum covers provide additional protection against external factors. The fuse link is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which translates into a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120 kA – and stable electrical parameters.

It is worth noting the double tripping indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and quick identification of a blown fuse link, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the indicator in the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of tripping, which is particularly important in automation and remote monitoring systems.
