Fuse link - NH2/WT-2C gF 160A/500V - fast-acting 004139397

The NH2/WT-2C gF 160A/500V fuse link is an advanced solution for protecting electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. It features a fast gF characteristic (non-delay), which ensures an immediate response to rated current exceedances.

High-quality construction and materials

The fuse body is made of solid steatite—a ceramic material with high resistance to thermal and mechanical loads. The covers made of aluminum provide long-lasting corrosion protection, while the blade contacts made of silver-plated brass guarantee low power losses and stable electrical contact.

The interior of the ceramic body is filled with quartz sand of specially selected granulation, which ensures high breaking capacity and stability of electrical parameters throughout the product's entire life cycle.

KOMBI signaling system and operating parameters

The innovative KOMBI dual trip indicator consists of a standard indicator on the top cover (resilient metal strip) and a red eye located in the middle part of the ceramic body. Once the fuse blows, both indicators simultaneously signal the need for replacement.

Operating parameters include a rated current of 160A, a rated voltage of 500V AC, and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 110kA. The fuse complies with the requirements of standards PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269, and VDE 0636.

Application and operational advantages

The fast gF characteristic makes the fuse ideal for rural power lines, where small conductor cross-sections, low transformer short-circuit powers, and low short-circuit currents occur due to dispersed buildings.

A very low k-factor <2.5 and the stability of the time-current characteristics ensure full operational selectivity and the possibility of selective coordination with overcurrent circuit breakers. The high short-circuit current limiting capacity protects the installation from mechanical and thermal damage.

Installation is performed using an insulating holder R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI, which provides additional protection against contact with live parts.
