Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

Knife fuse links NH are industrial devices designed to protect electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their design and electrical parameters comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliability and safety of use. This specific fuse link, with a rated current of 315A and a voltage of 400V, is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means it provides full-range protection of conductors against overload and short circuit.

A distinguishing feature of this series is the dual operation indicator – both the red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and the spring-loaded plate on the top cover will operate simultaneously after the fuse link blows. This solution provides very good visibility of the fuse link's operating status, both in bases and in fuse disconnectors. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote operation signaling.

The design of the fuse link has been designed with durability and ease of installation in mind. The body is made of steatite – a thermally stable material, and the knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass. The aluminum covers provide protection against corrosion. The fuse link is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which guarantees a high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120kA) and stable electrical parameters.
