Construction and application

The NH3C gG 315A/400V fuse link is a component designed to protect electrical circuits with a rated voltage of 400V and a rated current of 315A. The gG characteristic means that the fuse link provides full-range protection – both against overloads and short circuits. Made of high-quality steatite (body) and silver-plated brass (knife contacts), it ensures thermal stability and low current passage resistance. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity (120kA) and stability of electrical parameters.

Functionality and additional features

The fuse link is equipped with a double operating indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This system allows for easy and quick identification of a blown fuse link, even in difficult working conditions. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch, which allows for remote signaling of the fuse link operation. The design of the knife contacts facilitates mounting in a fuse base or fuse disconnector. It is worth mentioning the possibility of using insulated handles (NH…/I…) to increase safety during fuse link replacement.
