The NH2C gG 63A/400V, thanks to its time-delay characteristic (gG), is perfect for circuits where short-term current surges are permissible – for example, when starting motors. It provides effective protection against overload and short circuit, protecting the electrical installation and devices connected to it. It is worth noting that the gG characteristic allows for momentary exceeding of the rated current without unnecessary tripping of the circuit.

Construction and distinguishing features

NH fuse links are characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The body is made of high-quality steatite – a material with excellent insulating properties and thermal resistance. The knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass, minimizing transition resistance and ensuring a reliable electrical connection. The aluminum covers protect against corrosion, and the filling of the body with quartz sand of a special granulation increases the short-circuit extinguishing capacity.

This model is equipped with a double tripping indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the top cover. This system ensures easy and unambiguous identification of a blown fuse, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.

The NH2C gG 63A/400V fuse link is used in industrial installations, public buildings and wherever reliable protection against overloads and short circuits is required. The rated current of 63A at 400V makes it suitable for protecting circuits with medium power. The rated short-circuit switching capacity is as high as 120kA, which confirms its high effectiveness in emergency situations.
