NH Fuse Links – Reliable Installation Protection

NH fuse links are a proven protective element for electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. The design and parameters of these fuse links comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation and safety. The NH3C gG 250A/400V fuse link, thanks to its time-delay characteristic (gG), is perfect for circuits where short-term current surges are permissible – for example, when starting motors.

Construction and characteristic features

NH KOMBI fuse links are distinguished by a double indication of operation – both on the upper cover and in the central part of the ceramic body. This solution ensures easy and quick visual identification of a blown fuse, which facilitates locating and repairing the damage. Additionally, the indicator on the upper cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch, enabling remote signaling of the fuse operation.

The fuse body is made of durable steatite, and the knife contacts are silver-plated brass. The use of quartz sand with a special granulation to fill the body ensures a high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120 kA) and stable electrical parameters. It is also worth mentioning the insulated grips (NH…/I…) which increase safety during installation and replacement of the fuse links.
