Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their design and parameters comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions. This model, designated NH3C gG 400A/400V, is a time-delay fuse, intended for general use in AC installations.

Design and characteristic features

The fuse has been designed with durability and functionality in mind. The body is made of durable steatite – a thermally stable material, which ensures resistance to high temperatures generated during current flow. The silver-plated brass knife contacts minimize electrical resistance and ensure a secure connection. Aluminum covers protect against corrosion, and the body is filled with specially granulated quartz sand, guaranteeing a high short-circuit breaking capacity (120 kA) and stable electrical parameters.

Particular attention has been paid to the indication of operation. The fuse is equipped with a double operating indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the top cover, which facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse both in the base and in the fuse disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote status signaling of the fuse.
