NH4 gG 800A/500V fuse link is an element used to protect against the effects of short circuits and overloads in industrial installations. Designed for reliability and durability, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. Its time-delay operating characteristic allows for safe starting of devices with motors, minimizing the risk of unnecessary circuit disconnection during short-term current surges.

Construction and parameters

The insert is made of high-quality steatite, ensuring thermal stability and resistance to damage. Silver-plated blade contacts guarantee low transition resistance and efficient current flow. The body filled with quartz sand of a special granulation provides a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120kA at AC 500V. Therefore, in the event of a failure, the insert effectively interrupts the circuit, protecting the remaining elements of the installation.

The operating indicator located on the top cover facilitates quick identification of a blown insert, and the ability to cooperate with the NVS 5 microswitch allows for remote signaling of the insert status – which is particularly useful in complex electrical systems. The insert has a single operating indicator.
