Fuse link NH1 gG 125A/500V – reliable installation protection

The NH1 gG 125A/500V fuse insert is an element used to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for industrial applications, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. Its construction and parameters ensure effective protection of wires and devices in circuits with a voltage of up to 500V AC.

Construction and characteristic features

The insert is made of high-quality materials, such as steatite (body) and silver-plated brass (knife contacts). The body is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120 kA. Aluminum covers provide corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The insert has a gG characteristic, which means it provides full-range protection against overloads and short circuits.

Dual tripping indicator – quick fault identification

A key feature of this fuse insert is the dual tripping indicator of the KOMBI type. This means that both the red eye located in the central part of the ceramic body and the springy plate on the top cover will operate simultaneously after the insert blows. This solution provides very good visibility of the insert's operating status both in fuse bases and fuse disconnectors, making it easier to quickly identify faults and replace the element. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.

Mounting and compatibility

The NH1 gG 125A/500V insert is compatible with fuse bases and fuse disconnectors. Insulated handles R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI are recommended for mounting. The version with a striker (NH.../K…) is intended for use with HVL and KVL disconnectors equipped with signaling microswitches. The unified NH1 size designation replaces the older WT-1 designation, making it easier to select the appropriate replacement element.
