Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection
Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting against the effects of short circuits and overloads. The design and parameters of these fuse links comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation in various conditions. The offered model NH2 gG 125A/500V is a time-delay fuse, designed to protect circuits requiring resistance to short-term current surges, e.g. during motor starting.
The fuse link is characterized by a rated current of 125A and a rated voltage of 500V AC, and its construction is based on a steatite body – a material with high thermal stability. The knife contacts made of silver-plated brass ensure good electrical contact and minimize the risk of corrosion. Additionally, the fuse link has a double tripping indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the upper cover – which facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse.
- Double tripping indicator: provides clear and easy-to-read information about a blown fuse, both visually and with the possibility of connecting to a remote signaling system (using a NVS 5 microswitch).
- Time-delay gG characteristic: allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without disconnecting the circuit, which is important when servicing devices with high starting current.
- High breaking capacity: up to 120 kA at AC voltage, which guarantees effective protection of the installation against the effects of serious short circuits.
- Made of high-quality materials: steatite body and silver-plated knife contacts ensure durability and reliability.
- Manufactured in the EU: confirms compliance with European standards of quality and safety.
NH fuse links are used in a wide range of industrial, commercial and public utility building installations. They are ideal for protecting circuits powering motors, transformers, switchgear and general purpose applications. Insulated holders (NH…/I…) are also available to increase safety during installation and operation. Mounting the fuse links requires the use of appropriate R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI insulating holders.
