The NH2 blade fuse link gG 200A/500V is an element designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Construction and characteristic features

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials – a steatite (thermally stable material) body, silver-plated brass blade contacts and aluminum covers, which guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. The inside of the fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity.

A key feature of this model is the double tripping indicator – a red eyelet located centrally on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution provides easy and unambiguous visual identification of a blown fuse, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of the fuse status.

Application and parameters

The NH2 gG 200A/500V fuse link is intended for protecting cables and devices with a time-delay characteristic (gG). This means that it reacts a little slower to short-term current surges, allowing it to easily withstand the starting of devices with electric motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 120kA, which ensures effective protection against serious damage to the installation.

It is important to remember the compatibility with R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI insulating holders for safe mounting and the possibility of using fuse links with blow-out indicators (NH.../K…) in cooperation with HVL, KVL disconnectors equipped with signaling microswitches.
