The NH2C gG 63A/500V fuse link is an element used to protect electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Designed for industrial applications, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. It is a key component for ensuring continuity of operation and safety in demanding environments.

Construction and characteristic features

The fuse link is made in size NH2C, with a steatite body – a material characterized by thermal stability. The knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass, which ensures good electrical contact and minimizes power losses. The aluminum covers guarantee corrosion resistance. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120kA) and stability of electrical parameters. Importantly, this model has a double tripping indicator – both a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover indicate that the fuse link has blown. This system ensures easy and reliable identification of the operating status, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the double indicator allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.
