The NH000 gG 10A/500V fuse link is an element used to protect electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. It is a time-delay component, which means it allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without disconnecting the circuit – useful, for example, when starting electric motors, which temporarily draw much more current. The construction of the fuse link, compliant with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, guarantees its reliable operation and safety of use.

Construction and characteristic features

The NH KOMBI fuse link is distinguished by a dual indication of operation – both a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover indicate a blown fuse. This solution provides very good visibility of the fuse link's operating status, both in fuse bases and in disconnectors. The body is made of durable steatite, and the knife contacts are silver-plated brass – these materials ensure thermal stability and corrosion resistance. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity (120 kA) and stability of electrical parameters.
