Characteristics and application

NH000 fuse link with gG characteristic (general purpose) provides full-range protection of conductors. This means that it reacts to both overloads and short circuits, making it a universal solution for many applications. The combined (double) indicator – i.e. a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the upper cover – provides quick and clear information about the blown fuse, making it easier to locate the damage and replace it. This allows installers to quickly identify the problem and end-users to be confident in the proper functioning of the protection system.

Construction and parameters

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials – a body made of steatite (thermally stable material), silver-plated brass knife contacts and an aluminum cover providing corrosion resistance. The interior is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which guarantees a high short-circuit breaking capacity (120 kA) and stable electrical parameters. The rated current of 16A at a voltage of 500V AC (250V DC) makes this fuse suitable for protecting circuits with medium power. Compliance with IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 standards confirms its safety and quality. Power losses of 2.4W minimize the impact on the energy efficiency of the installation. The total Joule integral of switching is 970 A²s, and the pre-arcing is 220 A²s - these parameters demonstrate the ability to withstand large current surges.
